Tideway Marine and Offshore

Since the establishment in 1991, Tideway has been characterised by both its youth and experience.

Today Tideway remains a dynamic young company with the ambition and drive to provide top quality service and a notable final result. We offer the combined experience and insight of engineers and crews who are at home in every area of the marine industry.

In a competitive world, Tideway continues to provide the best of both worlds. Plus a great deal more.

Highly specialised in offshore dredging, landfall construction and pipeline stabilisation, we have instant access to the worldwide, in-house expertise of our parent company DEME. We have an excellent track record of projects successfully completed at a very wide range of locations. On time and within budget. Plus the desire and ability to work in close co-operation with you in finding the best possible solution for your project. In short, we not only offer you the best of both worlds. We have the added value and competitive edge to enhance them.

Tideway has spent years developing special stone placement equipment and techniques for pipeline stabilisation.

Throughout the world, we now offer a wide variety of pipeline related services, including:

- preparation of the seabed prior to pipelay or platform installation
- scour prevention around structures
- pipeline protection against anchor damage, trawler boards, etc.
- freespan correction
- offshore ballasting works
- upheaval buckling prevention
- Insulation of pipelines.

For the rock dumping works, we use our D.P. Fall Pipe Vessel "Rollingstone" with a loading capacity of approx. 11,500 tons and the new D.P. Fall Pipe Vessel "Seahorse", with a loading capacity of approx. 18,000 tons. Both vessels are fully certified Class II D.P. Vessels, inclusive completed FMEA trials and can therefore operate, if necessary, within 500 metre zones and close to platforms/structures without tug assistance.

Furthermore we have available the D.P. Side Stone Dumping Vessel Pompeļ with a loading capacity of approx. 1,200 tons.
